Please note you can only cancel from your next renewal period. Your website can go offline whenever you're ready but either way you will need to pay the remainder of your annual invoice either in a lump sum or monthly. You can check the cancellation terms in your contract.

I understand that cancelling my mailboxes will permanently delete my data and inbox history. I understand it is my own responsibility to back up my data if I want to.

1. Let it expire - perfect if you're closing the business entirely and will not start it again. This option will release your domain name back onto the market for someone else to purchase. You may not be able to ever get your domain name back again. Anything connected to it or pointing to it will disconnect. If you re-start your business in future, you may have to choose a different domain name.

2. Continue managing it for me for £12 a year - perfect for if you are still running the business or may start the business again in future. This option means your domain name will stay in our professional GoDaddy account ready if you need it again.

3. Transfer it to me to take responsibility for it myself - perfect for if you have a new web team or want to take everything over yourself. You must have a GoDaddy account which we will transfer your domain name into. You will be responsible for the management and legalities of your domain name going forward. You must understand the legalities of this action.
