Q: How long am I committed for once I sign up?

We have 2 options: monthly renewal or an annual commitment. Like they say on the tin, a website on a monthly renewal can be cancelled with 1 month's notice - handy if you're not planning on needing it for long or have an uncertain future. If you renew yearly you get a small discount but you can't cancel in that time without incurring fees. You will get an email 1 month before the end of your term.

Q: Can I cancel during the annual term?

If you're committed yearly you can pay a lump sum in order to end your contract early, which covers the costs we have paid until the end of the year and any work we have undertaken.

Q: Can I start on a cheaper/more expensive plan and upgrade/downgrade later?

Yes. You can upgrade and downgrade between the web management plan and the pro plan. You can also change your monthly renewal to an annual commitment at any time, but not vice versa until your renewal date.

Q: How do I get my invoices?

You will receive a private link with your invoices. We recommend bookmarking your link for future use.

Plans & Services

Q: I can't decide which Web Management plan is for me.

The Web Management Plan is the most affordable plan for businesses who need a great website but get most of their work/leads elsewhere. The Pro plan is for businesses wanting to know more about how their customers are using their website.

Q: What changes to my website are included in my plan?

Changes such as swapping images and text that are already on the website are included in your plan.

For example:

- adding promotions

- changing text or images

- changing your opening hours

- us answering your website-related questions or ideas

Q: How quickly will you do my web changes?

We will run through all requests twice a week. Therefore you can expect any changes to be addressed within a couple of working days. Please let us know if something is urgent and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Q: What changes to my website are not included?

- Very time-intensive changes like installing apps (such as a shop or booking system) are not included. We can quote for this

- Repeatedly adding and removing items is not included. 

- Entire re-designs or major re-structures are not included. 

- Any ongoing SEO work.

- We will not undertake anything on your behalf that is part of running your business. This includes managing products in a shop, processing orders, taking payments, managing communications, blogging, marketing work, etc.

Q: Is there a limit on changes I can make to my website?

To keep our prices low, we have a discretionary cap of 1 hour a year. We work quickly and very few of our clients require any more. We also work to a Fair usage policy.

Q: While on a management plan, what are my responsibilities as the business owner?

We will not manage anything on your behalf that is part of running your business. This includes managing products in a shop, processing orders, taking payments, managing communications. Your website is a valuable tool for your business. We keep it running, and it is your job to use it appropriately to boost your business.

Q: What kind of Google work do you do?

We do basic website SEO optimisation which ensures your website is ticking Google's boxes. You are encouraged to employ a marketing or SEO company if getting leads from Google is important to you. We optimise your website to support your SEO but this does not guarantee your ranking will improve, as that depends on a HUGE variety of factors across your business and marketing efforts. Most people do see results just from having a professional manage their website, but if you need to guarantee results then you'll need to employ additional methods. Please note that improving your Google ranking is not our responsibilty and you should not rely on our services to do this.

Q: Are there ever any extra charges?

In very rare cases, clients ask us to do things outside of the Web Management plans. It could be regularly adding a blog for them, sending reports, or other work that is technically the business owners' responsibility and not a web designer. In this circumstance we will agree an extra monthly charge to cover the requested work.

Q: What if I go over my time, or request something outside of the plan?

We will be honest if you're outside of our Fair Usage policy. We are flexible and happy to help, but our exceptionally low prices exist for a reason. We need to keep our time carefully monitored (don't forget that we pay for your hosting, domain name AND security costs from your monthly fee as well as our time!) You'll have the option to stop requesting changes or pay an hourly rate.
